Training - Hands on AirVisual Node
Date: 13 February 2017 / 8am to 12pm
Location: GreenID 90 Tran Thai Tong Street, Ha Noi
Organiser: VSEA
Background
Empowerment and capacity building require the training of the VSEA members in order to share the knowledge with the communities. Besides, the topic of air quality is highly important for the alliance. Though, VSEA organised a capacity building event on how to use small scale air quality monitoring devices (Air Visual Node) for members of the organisation and like-minded and interested individuals.
This half day workshop was held by GreenID to teach the highly motivated participants on how to set up, maintain and use the air quality monitoring the right way and then use it in the communities. The participants of the workshop have practised the use of the appliance and could compare it with other appliances. The trainer also gave practical introduction on how to find the historic data and use it.
After the presentation, all participants were divided into three groups in order to practice, set up, use, get data from the Air Visual Node and discuss; they could ask questions to the trainer and debate on a practical aspect of air quality topic.
