Background
Air pollution is a topic with great interest of both Vietnam’s Government and community. For contributing to social efforts in finding the solution for this problem, Green Innovation and Development Centre (GreenID) with members of Vietnam Sustainable Energy Alliance (VSEA) and Vietnam Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention Alliance (NCDs-VN) have carried out a number of activities in research and sharing information about Vietnam’s air quality, and delivered recommendations to mitigate the impacts from environmental pollution and prevent the increasing cases of illness and medical cost burden. These activities have been received a lot of interest and support from relevant parties.
Objectives

Sharing the research result on Vietnam air quality and the risk of increasing cases of non-communicable diseases.

Discussing the health impacts of air pollution to community;

Proposing solutions and methods in order to improve air quality in Vietnam.
Participants
Representatives from national ministries, departments, and scientists, organizations working in environmental and health sectors and media agencies.
